"This is authentic Jamaican food!! The service is fantastic and timely. They now have their dining room open, which has a wonderful island feel. I love the tropical decor! Tastefully done with the colorful Jamaican style! I get the coconut curried chickpeas and rice and jerk chicken! Or the real deal, delicious ox-tail, It is delicious! It’s perfect for lunch or an early dinner. I highly recommend giving them a try."

"My partner and I were passing through town on a little sightseeing adventures and he found this online. Soooooo worth the stop!! Everything we had was RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS! The jerk patty, chicken jerk salad and coco bread were all chefs kiss. The homemade habiscus drink was INCREDIBLE. On top of that, the owner and staff were all very kind and lovely. This is absolutely the type of business you want to support, plus your tastebuds will thank you! Without a doubt we’ll be back when we pass through again."

"I’ve been to Thingz twice now, and the food is very very good. I’ve gotten the Curry Goat, Oxtail (only on Tuesdays) and Curry Chicken and they’ve all been excellent. The meat is tender and flavorful. The key is to get it spicy as it really does accentuate the flavor. Keep in mind, this is not Chipotle, you’re not paying $11 for a bowl of affordable-processed food, you’re paying about twice as much for a decent portion of an authentic, good quality meal. Owner Shaneall is super friendly and accommodating, and my boy Joel knows what he’s doing in the kitchen and always takes a moment to come out and say hello. I’ll be a regular here for sure as it’s a super central location and already looking forward to bringing more of my people through to show them what the Yaad’s all about!"

"Thingz From Yaad is one of my favorite restaurants- I could eat it for every meal. Literally everything I have tried is delicious. My favorite is the fried chicken, the jerk chicken is amazing and the salad is also always a winner (jerk aioli dressing is so good). The Jamaican patties are so flaky and delicious. You get a good amount of food for the price, especially the meals that come with rice and peas. The staff are the most welcoming, lovely, friendly people. Takeout is our go-to because it’s so convenient, but they just opened a really nice dine-in space!"
